The ino stainless steel, spherical teapot was designed by Oliver Hemming in the 2000s. The handle is made of injection moulded black PPS and has a geometric shape. PPS was chosen by Oliver Hemming because it is heat resistant to 240 degrees centigrade and flame retardant, and also for its feel which is almost like stone. The teapot is part of a set including a creamer and sugar bowl and was designed as part of Oliver Hemming's University course work when he studied Silversmithing at Leicester Polytechnic in 1982
